These announcements are for members of Law Enforcement and not open to the public. Any course or training listed will entail a certain level of Basic Eligibility Requirements that are listed in each course. IPA Maryland Region 16 is not responsible for the courses listed and has only provided only a resource list for its Law Enforcement members and Agencies to list their announcements. The majority of the courses or training listed may be free to the Law Enforcement community. professional law enforcement training (plet)

Professional Law Enforcement Training offers a wide range of courses to correspond with the various types of assignments police officers work. Each training class has been strategically designed to provide the most up to date information relating to the course topics. Officers attending PLET training classes will be presented with methods and techniques to deal with police work that is currently happening.

nra: law enforcement division

These law enforcement courses are for public and private law enforcement officers and military personnel who are currently assigned (or are about to be assigned) to duties as law enforcement firearm instructors. These courses are the most up-to-date, cost-effective, and comprehensive law enforcement firearm instructor training available.

The VALOR Officer Safety and Wellness Program is dedicated to preventing injuries to, and deaths of, law enforcement officers and the people they serve and improving the health and resilience of officers. Developed by the U.S. Department of Justice, VALOR provides resources to improve the efforts of state, local, and tribal law enforcement personnel to increase officer safety and wellness.
